MEET OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Tzepos is a 1989 graduate of The University of Connecticut where he majored in physiology and neurobiology. He went on to attend The New England College of Optometry where he earned his doctorate of Optometry degree in 1993. Upon completion of his residency at the Veteran's hospital in Newington, CT, he joined Dr. William H. Hissey's practice in Seymour. When Dr. Hissey retired, he assumed ownership of the practice and has been practicing in Seymour for over 30 years.
He is board certified with the American Board of Optometry, a member of the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists and is active in the Seymour Lions Club.
Dr. Tzepos grew up in Oxford and resides in Bethany with his family.
Dr. Olga Romanovsky earned her Doctor of Optometry and Masters in Vision Science degrees from the State University of New York College of Optometry. After optometry school she continued her studies and completed residency in low vision and ocular disease at the Hampton VA Medical Center. Dr.Romanovsky received clinical training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Florida with emphasis in co-management of glaucoma, retinal, corneal disease, and pre/post-operative care.
Her primary focus in clinical care comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, contact lenses, and ocular disease. She is proficient in management of binocular disorders, amblyopia, and strabismus in children to aid their visual needs in learning and development.
Dr. Romanovsky wants to help raise awareness for the need of health care to underserved populations around the world and the U.S. She participates in outreach health programs, community vision screenings, and was part of a medical mission trip to Oaxaca, Mexico.
She speaks Russian and is conversant in Spanish.
